My grandpa was online tonight. How amazing is technology... how completely irresistable is it when my 74 year old grandfather is hooked up to AOL late at night when in the past he's sworn to complete computer celibacy for the rest of his time. My Grandpa is awesome. When I imed him he was like, "what is this? who is this" and then when I explained it to him he asked cute questions like how I made the happyface and how I knew he was online. Then he told me to get some beauty sleep and to tell my aunt how good he is with "his new monster." I ordered 3 Daniel Quinn books off Amazon.com tonight... I think that man is amazing. He's inspiring and eye-opening and he kinda rattles everything that you thought you were positive about. It's a little bit much at first - having the foundation beneath you shaken up... but at the same time you so wish that you had been the one to say it first and do the shaking. Look him up... that is the alena reccomendation of the month. He gets my seal of approval and a half.
