I had the scariest thing ever happen to me last night. In all honesty - looking back at it and thinking about the things I saw - it kinda freaks me out. We had a fire in the kitchen - a big one, the fryer (the deep fryer - with a few gallons of OIL in it) caught on fire, the burners shot flames up.. flames were crawling on the stainless steel walls because of grease residue over the fire -- and all this happened because a bottle of brandy got knocked over (and broken) that was sitting on the stove; and obviously, alcohol is very flammable and so all the vapors, all the liquid immdiately got caught on fire. Me and the Exec. chef were the only ones to act - It took just a couple minutes to get it under control, but shit. My heart has never pounded so hard in my chest, I have never been so scared, I have never felt such heat. Ugh. I hate thinking about it! You know, this has officially been the strangest, most out-of-the-ordinary couple of weeks. I wish the planets would re-align straight or something - cause damnit, strange shit keeps happening. Some of these things have been good things (but still very out of the ordinary, like the car or my uncle and grandfather moving up here), but the bad things, like the fire and all these social drama's, my mom being through a tornedo, etc... it's those things that I could do without. So - please - Mr/Miss God-controlling-series-of-events-in-my-life whatever the fuck - stop with the whole messing with my head nonsense. I'd appreciate it.
