Wow. It's been 11 days since I've knocked around in this place. How 'bout that. It's been a very long month. On the little piece of paper that prints out and tallies my hours at work, for the last week and a half I had close to 82 hours. Good thing I'm making some bank, at least. Now I'm just tired and sore all the time.. hmm can't wait till some kind of vacation comes through. Last night Casey and I missed the 12:30 am boat due to a late movie, so we had till the 2 am ferry to just hang out. He took me into downtown Seattle, which I generally never have the chance to go into - but it is super busy and has a million people walking all over usually. So we went there around 1:15 am... and it was like a ghost town. No honking traffic, no crowds of people. Just empty, with an occasional taxi rolling by and a few cops patrolling. It was quite surreal... we danced in Westlake Center - where there's this big old fountain that was turned off. Yeah. Just like in the opening credits for "Friends." Awesome! Exciting! And HEY! I'm going to LA! August 14-21st. Thank the sweet lord.. I simply can't wait.
