The 85 day streak of non-writing has finally been relinquished. Technically, I should be searching the web for special recipe idea's for tomorrow's (woohoo) sunday brunch. Yuck. Father's Day. I now have all this responsibility to the resturaunt, which can sometimes be daunting, but really refreshing on the other hand because it is very rare that I'm told what to do -- mostly I do my own thing and direct others. We have fun, actually. In short, I really do have the perfect job. In other news that will probably get me disowned and quietly murdered my members of the immediate and conservative family -- about 2 months ago I went into my tattoo parlor to have an extension specially drawn onto and for my current tribal tattoo. (Hmm. Honestly - I'm not sure if it's tribal, I think it's turned into just a gorgeous black design) Anyway. So a month of planning, sketching, measuring, etc... it finally came down to one, BIG piece. Which honestly, was not my intention upon first deciding that I wanted an extension. Seriously. So, it starts on the middle of my neck on the left side, spirals down my right shoulder, and weaves down to the very top of my left hip. Well, I guess in truth it's kinda the top of my ass. IT'S HUGE. Right now I have the outline down in gray, and some of the shading done on the top. It will probably take about 10-15 hours to complete, not including touch-ups in 6 months. It's amazing. And it feels even better knowing that I helped in designing and planning, and there is not a single tattoo like this one in the world. GOD it's gonna be awesome. Oh - and in more healthier news, I'm working out again, and out of school and actually getting to SLEEP at night, and planning on quitting smoking July 1st. It is a beautiful day outside.. methinks it's a good day for sunbathing...
